Best known for roles on the small screen, Lagos-born, RADA-trained Tomiwa Edun is now making the leap to film and will play a leading role in What Happened to Monday?, a dystopian vision of the future where families are only allowed one child due to overpopulation.

The drama (release date tba) will see him star alongside icons Glenn Close and Willem Dafoe. The talented British actor has also portrayed both Romeo and Macbeth on the London stages, and earlier this year appeared in The Deep Blue Sea at the National Theatre, alongside Helen McCrory. Edun's next high-profile role sees him playing the guest lead in the anticipated Doctor Who Christmas Special.
